Exhibits at the Sharon Historical Society
We hope that you will enjoy these "virtual exhibits" and visit often to see new exhibits.
The museum's exhibits are located on the first floor of the Gay-Hoyt House and throughout the new addition. Two furnished rooms on the south side of the house illustrate the aesthetics of the Colonial Revival (beginning in 1876,) a period of architecture and interior decoration that was very popular throughout Litchfield County.
The two north rooms feature changing exhibits on topics of local, state and national interest.
