Eckstein Family

The Eckstein family arrived in Sharon in 1998. They came to Sharon because they owned the Harvest Bakery in Salisbury and then they sold the bakery along with the name.

My father's side of the family came from Pittsburgh. My father's father is Jimmy. My father's mother is Barbie. My father had one brother and one sister named Sue and John. My mother's side of the family came from Warren. My mother's father is Percy. My mother's mother is Cathy. My mother had one brother named Brian.

My father is a carpenter/chef. My mother works as a baker and is going to school to be a massage therapist.

I was born in Sharon. I have three siblings named Jacob, Ben, and Anna. We have five pets. They are four dogs and one cat.

My family likes Sharon because it has a lot of woods and wildlife. I think that I will not stay in Sharon when I grow up because the job I want isn't in Sharon. I want to be someone who works with computer programs.

Elsirafy Family

The Elsirafy family arrived in Sharon in 1996. They came to Sharon to learn English, and because it has great education.

My mom had no brothers and sisters. My dad had seven sisters and brothers named Mostafa, Mohamed, Mariem, Israya, Ushraf, Sayid, and Ahmed. My mom and dad both came from Africa.

My dad works at a hospital that works for the government in the Bronx, while my mom doesn't work at all.

I was born in America. I have eight siblings named: Sarah, Kareem, Marwah,Yousrah, Ama, Hager, Abdurrahman, and Edham.

My family likes Sharon because of its beautiful landscape, and because it's a small town and everyone knows each other. I don't know if I will stay in Sharon when I grow up because here it has great education, the people are friendly, and it's easier to live somewhere I can speak a language I knew my whole life, but in Africa it has a lot of the same people and same things, like culture. And in New Jersey I have most of my family living there, and it's better to stay with your family, but most likely I will stay in Sharon because it is a great and awesome town.
